Introduction to neuromarketing for creative effectiveness

How can you use neuroscience insights to make your creative campaigns more impactful?

Master Class English

Introduction

Neuromarketing is a rapidly growing discipline that helps us understand how people process information, make decisions, and how their behaviour is influenced. A basic understanding of how the brain works is therefore a true asset for every marketer and communication professional. Neuromarketing gives you the tools to better understand how to influence consumer behaviour and create more memorable and effective creative campaigns.

What will you learn?

  • You’ll gain a deeper understanding of how the brain works.
  • You’ll get an overview of the most widely used neuromarketing techniques and how they are applied.
  • Through practical cases (campaigns by LDV United & international examples), you’ll learn how to apply—or avoid—universal brain principles to make your marketing efforts more effective.
  • You’ll actively work with brain principles through hands-on exercises.

For whom?

Anyone working in marketing and communication with an interest in consumer psychology, behavioural economics, and how these insights can be translated into effective communication

Language

The training and presentation will be conducted in English.
Participants may respond in the language of their choice.

“Super interesting, a very good and fluent speaker, and the content was applied in a very practical way. Lots of examples, and the exercises also made it all very tangible.”

“I absolutely loved this training! It was very well-structured, interactive, and full of concrete, immediately applicable examples. The trainer was captivating and managed to keep my attention throughout the entire three hours. It’s a sign of excellent training when you feel like a few extra hours wouldn’t have been too much!”

Speakers

  1. Lorien Verachtert

    Lorien Verachtert

    Strategic Planner at LDV United

Lorien holds a master’s degree in computational psycholinguistics (University of Antwerp) and in neurolinguistics (Vrije Universiteit Brussel). Her interest in neuromarketing was sparked during a summer school programme in cognitive neuroscience at Radboud University Nijmegen.

After completing a postgraduate course at the Belgian Advertising School, she began her career as a strategist at LDV United, an advertising and communication agency based in Antwerp. Over the past six years, she has focused on bridging the gap between neuroscience and marketing.

In 2022, Lorien was part of the programme committee for the Neuromarketing World Forum held in Berlin. This experience fuelled her passion for the field of neuromarketing and strengthened her mission to raise awareness about its potential to enhance marketing effectiveness.
