Support development of Cointreau and the art of mix. Support the brand /drinks awareness, trial and image with a specific focus on developing personal relationships with key influencers and support execution of marketing plan. Scope is Benelux : main focus Belgium but develop further Netherlands.


o To represent the brand Cointreau at Benelux level, and when required from global brand team: ability to respect group and brand communication guidelines.

o To build personal relations and entertain a close contact with Cointreau brand ambassadors worldwide and key influencers (mainly bartenders).

o To educate and train bartenders, consumers, customers and internal staff on Cointreau brand and on how to make Cointreau long-drinks & Cointreau classic cocktails (cocktail making)

o To manage all aspects of the brand influencers program from planning through to execution and evaluation (motivation of using the existing tools, creative ideas in terms of brand visibility and tailor-made program)

o To organize the events & on-trade activations with the influencers & agencies from planification to execution and measurement. Attendance to the event advised, when possible. Event reporting to be done no later than 3 days after the event.

o To collaborate with RC Marketing (International & Local) & Sales Teams, agencies (Strategic/ PR / event / activations), Netherland distributor to achieve strategic brand goals & respect global brand guidelines-as well as providing input in terms of plans & tools development.

o Drive RC Belux cocktail knowledge and transversal portfolio cocktail program.

o Go to field/trade visits and attend to events/promotions and report –at least 2-3 nights/week.

o Presents and portrays brands with respect for social responsibility and existing laws or industry code of conduct (Jury d'Ethique Publicitaire / Fédération des Vins & Spiritueux)

 Skills and Profile
- Affinity with spirits industry, cocktails –likes to entertain and make/serve cocktails are a must
- Good level of bartending skills :experience in making classic cocktails like Cosmopolitan & Margarita
- Charismatic, elegant, genuine, must embody Cointreau brand personality
- Ability to communicate and relate to Cointreau consumer target
- Creative, inventive
- Digital savvy -social media user
- Passion and affinity with product story and qualitative products
- Reliable, feet on the street, independent but team work
- Rigorous and attention to details
- Nice to have: existing network in journalists & influencers
- Professional, socially responsible and high maturity level
- PC skills: advanced knowledge Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, social media & digitally connected

 Education/Experience
- Post secondary education in business, sales or marketing or horeca
- At least 2 years of working experience in horeca/events/spirits industry.
- Experience in spirit industry a definite plus + affinity, experience with on-trade
- Good level of bartender skills a requirement

 Languages
- Fluent in NL, FR and good level in EN.
 Mobility
-Must have valid driving license
-Willing to have flexible hours as attendance to events during weekends or/and evenings is required.
(2-3 nights/week in average)
-The person is ideally based in Belgium but will cover occasionally also top key cocktails outlets in Luxembourg, Amsterdam & Rotterdam. There could be occasional international travel, mainly in France.
