For this role we believe you have minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and managing complex paid media budgets. Ideally, you have experience in the retail industry, preferably the home furnishing sector, as well as experience in planning, driving output and measuring performance.

You have a deep knowledge of Paid Media. You have a broad knowledge of the media industry, on how to integrate Paid, Owned and Earned media, marketing technology, omnichannel buying and optimization tactics and online customer behaviours. In addition, you are passionate about the IKEA brand and company values, you approach media challenges and opportunities from a data-driven mindset and are eager to continuously test and learn. Finally, you have extensive experience in change management methods and tools as well as stakeholder management.

You have the ability to quickly grasp the complexity of the IKEA business and the role of the commercial department as an integrated part of the business. You have the ability to independently lead a project and implement desired actions with speed and simplicity combined with strong interpersonal skills. Furthermore, you have the ability to take a holistic view of a global organisation and identify business opportunities accordingly as well as the ability to measure performance and capture learnings to improve planning and performance moving forward.

In the role of Country Integrated Media Leader, you are responsible for developing a multichannel integrated media strategy in close collaboration with the media agencies, with the purpose of maximizing marketing ROI. You are responsible for identifying audiences and media solutions to deliver to the marketing objectives.
You will:
• Act as a member of the Marketing team and actively contribute to the marketing plan/output in order to deliver to the common objectives and goals.
• Be responsible for the development and implementation of the integrated media plan across paid, earned and owned media, on and offline.
• Be responsible for budget management, finalizing and negotiating all paid advertising contract terms such as rates, placement, frequency etc. to maximize return on investment and ensure cost transparency.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Performance Leader on Media Performance analysis, including media auditing, cost-efficiency analysis, monitoring and reporting on the cost-benefit ratio.
• Closely collaborate with, challenge and steer exchanges with the media agencies on a daily basis.
• Actively cooperate with all key stakeholders within the broader commercial department and beyond to secure buy-in from all parties involved, a common focus and maximal impact.
• Pro-actively challenge the status-quo, with an open and curious mindset to test and evaluate new marketing technology, audience strategies and buying tactics.
• Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate, be a role model of the IKEA values, and contribute to the transformation of IKEA
