About the Marketing Department

The marketing department has an important role in promoting the company’s brands to all stakeholders (patients, physicians and pharmacists). It plays a vital role in understanding the market and its competitors. The department defines EG’s market positioning and promotes its brands to all target audiences in line with the company’s purpose “Caring for people’s health as a trusted partner”.

About your role

The brand manager is responsible for a number of brands in Consumer Healthcare in order to further accelerate our growth, going from strategical brand building exercises, business reviews to brand plans and presenting and implementing the brand activation plan.
• You will be responsible for several Consumer Care brands: you develop activation- and communication plans to all stakeholders (patients/consumers, physicians and pharmacists) based on the brand objectives and taking into account the legal context.
• Pro-actively look for new opportunities and find the right balance between the traditional proven tools and new trends.
• Generate the necessary instore visibility and drive sales for your OTC products.
• You are responsible for the creation and implementation of the brand plans. You own your budgets, analyze the results and pro-actively suggest adaptations of the plans where needed.
• You present the plans to the medical and pharma reps in an inspiring and motivating way.
• You work closely with the sales department: you align your plans with the sales teams.
• Together with the digital brand manager, you research the various possible digital activations to grow your products.
• Collaborate cross functional with colleagues of Pharmaceutical Affairs, New Business Development, Supply Chain and other departments. You align your plans regularly with them and communicate all relevant info to all counterparts.

Required profile

• Motivated, Energetic and Passionate (MEP)
• You act in line with our values: Integrity, Entrepreneurship, Agility and One STADA.
• Master’s degree in marketing, commercial engineering, business economics. Previous marketing experience in FMCG is a plus.
• Strong marketing skills, able to think strategically, develop strong briefings whilst pragmatically enough to ensure excellence in execution
• Good teamplayer, strong communicator with solid analytical skills
• Eager to learn and to adapt plans in line with the new trends
• Fluent in French, Dutch & English
