--> Your role

As Local Brand Manager BeLux, you are in the driver seat for the activation and implementation of the Alpro and Provamel products for one of our most important markets: Belgium and Luxembourg.

You inspire the 5 year innovation pipeline with the Alpro divisional headquarters, by being the authority on ensuring a fit for our commercial organization in Belgium and Luxembourg and purpose innovation pipeline that future proofs brand growth. You lead the co-ordination and deployment of the Belux commercial organization’s product portfolio and New Product Development (NPD) launches.

You act as a point of contact for the BeLux commercial organization towards the Alpro divisional HQ and for the divisional Alpro HQ in the context of local marketing insights, data exchange and reportings.

In this role (with internal title: Local Product Manager), you report directly to the Marketing Manager of BeLux, and have 1 direct report (Jr. Product Manager).

- Ideation and Product charter: You lead your team to deliver annual sales and targets, across the company’s main product categories.
You continuously review the portfolio and NPD launch activity, and optimize where necessary.
You deliver necessary concept sell collateral to sales colleagues.
You influence wider category, sales and innovation teams to align behind chosen direction and key projects.
You feed into Marketing budget, providing monthly reconciliation in your specific areas.

- New Product Development launches & post-launches: You lead the category and product planning process for your market. You own and deliver significant elements of the annual category and brand planning process: from proactively identifying gaps/opportunities, through to presentation sign-off and sales presentations, together with you team.
You proactively build the consumer, sales and business cases to back- up proposed solutions.
You regularly present and advocate plans to other functional teams and commercial contacts. You proactively manage resulting feedback.

- Customer Marketing & Category Management Support: You lead your projects, working in tandem with colleagues and with the Junior Product Manager, to deliver annual growth objectives, taking timing and budgets into consideration.
You influence the wider category, sales and innovation teams to align behind chosen direction and key projects.
You rollout launch(es), with and together with your sales and category colleagues.
You build in metrics into activities, assess ROI at post-launch review and advise changes where necessary.

- People management: You lead, support and manage the Junior Product Manager in the achievement of business objectives.
You coach and develop the Junior Product Manager to grow in the role.

--> About you

- You hold a Master Degree, preferable in Marketing, Economics, Commercial Engineering, etc.
- You have approx. 4 years of marketing experience (f.ex. in Brand Management, Product Management, Consumer Marketing, etc.).
- Experience within an international FMCG or Food environment is a plus.
- You have strong analytical skills and have experience with Nielsen and GfK data. You have strong MS Office Excel skills.
- You are a conceptual and creative thinker.
- You have Project Management skills and are a strong communicator.
- You are a team player, with strong interpersonal skills.
- You are fluent in English. Dutch and French are big assets.
