YOUR MISSION

Lead, develop and execute the management of customer information to secure it is accurate, trusted and relevant for the IKEA unit and brings added value for customers, co-workers and suppliers.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT

• You are responsible to lead (directly or indirectly through a matrix) and develop a high performing team to support the data and information management about the IKEA customers in the retail unit
• You lead and chair the Customer Information Group to ensure that customer information is used as an asset to support the development of our business and handled in a legally compliant and secure way in the retail unit.
• You establish Customer Information Management in the organization as an enabler to the business plan as well as an integrated part of the business processes and business development plans
• You identify future needs and requirements on information exchange or collection, as well as new potentials offered by customer information to grow our business, in collaboration with other key stakeholders
• You initiate and realize projects, initiatives and activities according to the Customer Information Management plans
• You secure implementation of Customer Information Management policies, standards and rules according to legal requirements and Customer Information Management Framework
• Together with key stakeholders, develop and maintain data quality controls and establish consistent data quality acceptance criteria and business rules to meet defined KPIs
• You identify and control the business impact and risks of the specific customer information storage, and together with relevant expertise define the levels of protection
• You provide support in business and root cause analysis related to customer information
• You identify potential new customer data quality issues and escalate customer information related risks as appropriate
• You act as an ambassador, promoting customer information to be treated as an asset, respecting societal expectations, cultural, legal and IKEA norms related to information sharing and storage
• You work closely with the Market Intelligence team and other stakeholders to enrich customer and business insight generation thanks to relevant customer information analysis

YOUR PROFILE

• Understanding of market and consumer data trends and the information owned in the domain
• Understanding of the information owned in the domain and what role it plays in the business processes
• You have a solid knowledge in information management and requirements from the information policies, rules and legislation both globally and locally
• You understand data profiling methods and tools
• You are enthusiast about the IKEA Concept, Brand, Culture & Values and ways of working
• You understand aspects of the IKEA multichannel shopping experience and of the customer needs across his IKEA journey
• You have leadership knowledge in various situations
• Good written & spoken Dutch and/or French and very good written & spoken English
• You are passionate to contribute to strengthening the brand position of IKEA on the Belgian market by delivering a great customer experience and building the brand perception
• You are enthusiastic about the idea of good data quality and how it can support seamless ways of working for IKEA customers and co-workers and suppliers
• You have passion for innovation, new technologies, digital communication & retailing and a strong interest for life at home and home furnishing
• You are able to build trust and communicate clearly with different people in various situations
• You are able to work with and through people across functions and levels in the organization and to identify business potentials related to customer information data and data quality
• You can communicate the importance and value of well managed customer information and good data quality cross functions and operating levels
