The ‘Digital Strategy Manager’ will spearhead Digital Marketing initiatives for Universal Music Belgium’s local and international roster. As part of the management team, the Digital Strategy Manager is responsible for overseeing the digital team and for building out the digital, mobile and social components of an artist’s overall marketing plan.

Your main goal is to make sure Universal Music Belgium’s repertoire is amply represented on streaming platforms and are visible on all online platforms. You will set up the overall digital strategy and determine which core activities the team will focus on. You will follow-up on the team's work and channel the amount of work that comes down on the digital team.

The core activities the digital team focuses on include, but aren’t limited to: digital promotions, artists website development and optimization, fan acquisition and engagement, implementation of digital tools and products to increase fan engagement, paid media campaigns, etc.

How you’ll CREATE:

- Develop and manage a team of best-in-class digital experts to run digital promotions driving traffic, fan acquisition and creating brand awareness for artists. Includes upskilling to strengthen current team expertise.

- Act as the thought leader, concepting and gaining adoption for direct-to-fan marketing strategies and innovations to achieve goals;

- Institute best practice principles across audience development, data management, platform solutions, channel management and integrated marketing in order to elevate Universal Music Belgium to best-in-class;

- Lead the creation and utilization of all artist social networks with updates, posts news, content, etc. Will also be involved in the development of artist's websites and D2C stores;

- Quantify the success and efficiency of digital promotions, paid media campaigns, eCommerce efforts and social engagement via various analytics tools;

- Track-specific milestones, including email, social and advertising conversion rates, plays and views, number of fans acquired, campaign spend and ROI against project goals;

- Measure and analyze overall campaign performance and provide insights and key learnings to other departments;

- Maximize revenue potential from direct audience relationships;

- Develop omni-channel CRM and database-driven marketing;

- Oversee relationships and secure commercial opportunities with digital partners, influencers, and brands.
Bring your VIBE;

- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing with a focus on analytics, content and performance growth across digital and direct marketing channels in scaled, fast paced, consumer businesses (either via an agency or directly for the brand);

- Experienced performance marketer – strong testing, optimization and growth planning experience (across channels) and unique audience segments a must;

- Extremely analytical, with the ability to define KPI's, establish required reporting and build analytical strategies to justify and grow investment;

- Strong project management, organization, networking and communication skills;

- Ambitious individual sought who is a self-starter requiring minimal direction;

- Trilingual Dutch, French and English.
