The Mission

The function of Head of Advertising Belux:
• Defines the communications strategy of the brands of GROUPE RENAULT in Belgium and in Luxembourg towards their prospects and customers
• Defines and implements the advertising strategy of the GROUPE RENAULT in Belgium and in Luxembourg for Renault and Dacia brands, their products (new vehicles, used vehicles, light commercial vehicles) and their services (after sales, RCI, connected services)
• Defines and implements the digitalisation strategy of the advertising business: technology watch, performance of data, leveraging of the best-performing digital tools, social media , monitoring, DMP activation

The daily job activities:

• Enhances and promotes the Group’s Brands, their products and services, by designing and implementing marketing and communication strategies, activities and events
• Ensures the consistency and relevance of the Brands strategy and their roll-out actions
• Contributes to increased sales volumes of the market areas and the OaO (Overall Opinion) by developing and rolling out a 360-degree contact strategy for the brands of the Renault Group [Renault, Dacia, etc.]
• Implements a brand content strategy that includes the history of the brand, experiential marketing and the always-on messages and dialogues for social media

Advertising and Digital Transformation:
• Defines and elaborates, for BELUX area, all national and local advertising campaigns for the Renault and Dacia brands; for all communication media (ATL, BTL, DIGITAL, EVENT) and in accordance with the Quality-Cost-Delevery criteria.
• Ensures the launch and public awareness of the campaigns:
o for newly introduced models/for other product campaigns
o brand image
o promotional operations
• Defines and implements the global media strategy for Belgium and Luxembourg and oversees the design of the media plans for each campaign
• Defines the digitalisation strategy of the advertising business: technology watch, performance of the DATA, use of the best-performing digital leverage tools, control of social media, DMP activation
• Controls the budget allocations for media, non-media and production
• Validates the KPIs for each campaign, ensures the performance measurement and its analysis
• Defines the strategy for partnerships and sponsoring
• Provides support to Communications PR management by contributing to the organisation and communication of large public events (Dacia Picnic, Power of Passion, Brussels Motor Show)
• Defines the guidelines for local advertising (media, creativity, on-line/off-line brand identity) for the dealer network and ensures compliance
• Develops, in consultation with the network, the annual promotional calendar as well as the promotional events

• Manages and supports a team of 7 people (internal & external)
• Participates in the Belux Operations Committee
• Drives the Creative and Media Agencies as well as the providers
• Works closely together with the other services of the Marketing Communication Benelux department, Marketing management and with Communications PR Belux management
• Works in productive collaboration with the other departments of Renault Belgium-Luxembourg, the Europe region and the corporate departments.

The profile we are looking for:

• Master’s degree or equivalent
• Digital First – knowledge of DMP, Data, Social Media
• Minimum of 5 years experience in advertising/communications with an advertiser
• Ability to drive a team and creative and media agencies
• Ability to manage a budget of several millions of euros
• Ability to work as part of a team, to persuade co-workers, decision-makers and business leaders
• Excellent skills as a communicator with the ability to represent a brand
• Preferably trilingual in French, Dutch, and English
