--> Your Role

As International Strategy & Insights Manager, you are part of the Global Marketing & Innovations department of Alpro, the plant-based business-unit of the Danone Group.

In this role, you report to the International Senior Strategy & Insights Manager, and are responsible for all areas of market research (e.g. global business topics such as plant-based trends; consumer insights, consumer segmentation; taste research; brand trackers; etc.). You lead, set up and follow-up on research projects. You work together with external agencies, perform data analyses and formulate recommendations. Doing so, you contribute to achieving the local and divisional objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Management: You lead quantitative and qualitative market research projects in diverse domains (including shopper insights, pricing, out-of-home, big data, sensory consumer tests, retail household panel researches, etc.).
You challenge initial requests and define the proper methodology.
You select the most adequate (external) research agency, challenge data quality and correct interpretation.
Doing so, you deliver added-value on marketing and consumer insights. Your insights are shared with and lived by all relevant local and international stakeholders (such as top management, Sales & Marketing teams, R&D, etc.).

- Research Strategy Optimization: You act as a key expert for all market research queries with respect to internal stakeholders (marketing, sales, R&D, etc.) in order to ensure full research data availability and up-to-date information on key marketing insights.

- External Partnerships: You collaborate with, challenge and lead external agencies in delivering the requested outcome of research projects. Doing so, you ensure up-to-date research analyses and insights.

- KPI monitoring: You monitor the most important parameters about our brands and company and make sure that our information is up-to-date (new trends, accuracy, etc.). Doing so, you work in close collaboration with all stakeholders to maintain and monitor our international database of local, international & external market research data (f.ex. company consumer related KPI results, our brand image, performance tracker, key insights in target groups, etc.).

- Resource Allocation: In order to maximize return on investment, you manage and follow up budgets of specific running projects. You take the local and international marketing research needs into account.

- Knowledge Management & Continuous improvement: You attend local and international market research meetings, reviews, events, etc. You keep your market research knowledge up-to-date with external trends.

About you

- You hold a Master Degree in Marketing, Economics, Engineering, etc., or equivalent through experience.
- You have 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing research projects (preferably at the client side in the FMCG or Food industry). Experience in an international branded context is a plus
- You have experience with using Research Tools (Nielsen Nitro/Answers, GfK, etc.)
- You have a creative mindset and think out of the box to cover all different perspectives on topics.
- You have an analytical mind and have good project management skills.
- You are a real team player and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- You are fluent in English; Dutch and French are assets.
