If you’re passionate about building rich social media experiences, and a creative, social-media-savvy type at heart, this could be just the right fit.

Join the team that’s making Alpro one of the fastest-growing consumer names in Europe as Junior Social Content Manager.
As a key member of our global content team based in Ghent, you’ll report into the International Social & PR Brand Manager.

Your responsibilities will include:
- You develop, create, manage and optimize our social content calendar across key social channels (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest & Twitter). You make sure that the content is in line with our strategy & business needs, and work in close collaboration with the global and local marketing teams.
- You are the owner of social content creation. You implement and give input on the divisional content strategy, and translate it towards social content. You do so in close collaboration with manager & marketing teams (divisional & local).
- You follow up on social content KPI’s and monitor progress in the different social channels from a content perspective, in order to maintain and boost communication effectiveness. You manage the predefined budget for social content creation, in collaboration with your manager.
- You collaborate with and follow up on agencies and creatives all over Europe to develop planned and real-time content to a brief – both on a creative and technical level. You do so in time and within the agreed budgetary levels.
If needed, you align with our legal department and our local marketing teams to run crisis management and manage the brand’s response to corporate issues, in close collaboration with your manager.
- You collaborate with the connections team (Digital Brand Managers, etc.) to understand and address their social content needs, for each social channel.
- You share and build further on your knowledge: you attend local and international marketing meetings, reviews, events, etc. Doing so, you keep up-to-date with the key marketing communication, conversation and social media knowledge. You identify and optimize cross-platform content opportunities. You lead sessions on social content creation in our international digital taskforce meetings and formulate improvements for further content creation.

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree.
- 1-3 years’ experience, ideally in content creation and/or conversation management in a B2C environment (agency or client-side). FMCG experience is a plus.
- Organisational and project management skills that prove an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Copywriting abilities are a big bonus, and experience with photography and visual production (e.g. Photoshop, Lightroom or InDesign) a plus.
- UX-centred thinking, putting the consumer first to create effective brand experiences online.
- An eye for aesthetics and a creative mindset – as well as the ability to keep a pragmatic, business-and-consumer-oriented approach front of mind.
- Excellent professional English is a must.

This role is a fantastic chance to put your natural creative skills and hard-earned social media knack to good use, and make a real impact within a fast-growing brand with strong vision, and a loyal online following.

If these are the sorts of things that get you excited, we’d love to chat.
