--> Your role

How amazing would it be to be responsible for developing our Alpro® and Provamel® brands on the media and experiential marketing level? Our goal is to get even closer to our consumers through more experiential marketing campaigns. You will be in the driver’s seat in developing the Media and Experience strategy to make that happen.

In this role, you are responsible for bringing the consumer’s experience to the next level, by creating more penetration and translating our divisional communication strategy to the consumers in Belgium and Luxembourg. You develop the local media and experience plans and manage the process and progress of these plans with internal and external stakeholders (such as agencies, etc.).

Working from our offices in Ghent, you report to the local Marketing Manager Belux and are the manager of 1 Media & Experience Assistant (who is responsible for the operational follow-up and coordination of the marketing plans).

--> Key responsibilities

- Local media & experience planning: Based on a good understanding of the local marketing needs, you translate our divisional brand equity into a local media and experience plan, for the consumers in Belgium & Luxembourg.
You do so in close cooperation with the local Marketing team (e.g. with the Local Marketing Manager, Product Managers, Customer Marketeer, Digital Brand Manager, etc.) as well as with the divisional marketing teams, so you can fully develop and activate the local market.

- Communication and media (ATL and BTL): You are responsible for developing, monitoring and evaluating national media planning, campaigns, tastings, samplings, events, etc. in close collaboration with the international communication team.
You oversee multiple channels, categories and products and evaluate and share performance & learnings about local marketing and consumer needs in order to contribute to achieving the local marketing and sales objectives.

- People management: As a true coach, you lead your team member and help to develop towards excellence.
You help to set priorities, set objectives, and provide guidance and constructive feed-back.
You identify personal development opportunities and coaches towards the next-level.

- Project management: You get the opportunity to participate in and prepare local projects in close collaboration with stakeholders. You are a “goal keeper” in which you make sure objectives are met and we create the ideal experience for our consumers.

- External partnerships: You are responsible for briefings and communication plans towards external media & communication agencies. Together with the Media & Experience Assistant, you make sure that the deliverables are met, within the agreed budget, timing, etc.

- Knowledge management: In order to provide an excellent media and experience content you keep your expert knowledge up-to-date about everything considering marketing communication, campaigns, media and other content.
