--> Your role

As Sr. Social Content Manager, you are part of the Marketing Communication team, that is responsible for the MarCom strategy and Content Creation for all our brands on global level.

You are in the driver’s seat for translating the brands’ strategy into an engaging social content strategy!
You take the lead in the development of creative concepts and their final executions for all global social channels.

As the global expert in online storytelling and engaging social content, you enable the local markets to maximize content driven opportunities in all online social media channels. In close collaboration with the global and local marketing teams, you ensure the effective implementation of all aspects of the brands and the company's online presence.

You are based at Alpro’s Headquarters in Ghent, and report directly into the Int. Sr. Communication Manager, and have 1 direct report.

--> Key Responsibilities

- People management: you lead the team members, manage their competences and coach them, to let them grow.

- Translation of the overall brand strategies towards Social Content strategies: You always take the consumer trends and information of stakeholders (e.g. market research, social listening, etc.) into consideration, when translating the brand strategy towards a social content strategy.
You align with management and define the prioritised projects (on e.g. campaigns peak moment, always on content, etc.).
You set KPI's and monitor progress in the different social channels from a content perspective in order to maintain and boost communication effectiveness.

- Lead the development of toolkits on a global level: To realize the brand objectives, you lead the development of the toolkit elements related to social (e.g. briefing agency, content production, copywriting, etc.).
You monitor the creative content and copywriting for social media applications, guide the creation of engaging assets and guide the production process for international conversational calendars.
Budget management: You follow up the budgets and reporting during the projects.

- Crisis management: In case needed, you are point of contact towards management, and you guide the team in formulation of right approach, in line with procedures
including the facilitation of internal crisis management procedures, in order to support the effective brand strategy for consumers

- Knowledge sharing and continuous improvement You lead the strategy knowledge sharing on local and international marketing meetings, reviews, events…, and you propose key content and media learnings for future projects.
You formulate workflows for continuous improvements and translate information into learnings to optimize procedures and ways of working, in order to maximize efficiency.

--> About you

- You hold a Master degree, e.g. in Marketing, Communications, etc. or equivalent through experience.
- You have 5-7 years’ experience in Marketing and have experience in content creation for B2C brands in benchmark companies. Experience in (digital) conversation management is an asset.
- You are result oriented, and combine strong conceptual & strategic thinking with a pragmatic hands-on mentality.
- It goes without saying that you are passionate about social media and are a digital native. Experience with photography and visual production (e.g. Photoshop, Lightroom or InDesign) is a plus.
- An eye for aesthetics and a creative mindset – as well as the ability to keep a pragmatic, business-and-consumer-oriented approach front of mind.
- You have strong organizational and project management skills that prove an ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent professional English is a must.
