Proximus is looking for a TV Marketplace Ad Operations Support for its Advertising Services department. You will participate in the development/maintenance of the new advertising platform/marketplace for the TV advertising market and handle the day-to-day support operations towards broadcasters.

This new kind of advertising sales channel will give you the opportunity to be part of the birth of standards around this innovative business, stimulating your capacities of creativity to ensure its adoption by the clients via a good understanding of their demands.

Concretely, the Operational and Technical Product manager SmartAds Marketplace will be the first line helpdesk for broadcasters, to assist them in campaign set up, delivery troubleshoot and yield management.

This function contributes to the maximization of the usage and revenues on the marketplace. You will be in connection with both Adserver Support and Internal TEC support teams to ensure that mission. Additionally, with further feature releases on the product, you will lead the techno-commercial aspect of the developments, design and set up a test plan and execute it in order to identify and report possible bugs. To enable this, you will participate in internal development and test meetings. You will report to the business of this development task.

Function Description

- Advanced support for broadcasters. Receive request from broadcasters, respecting the SLAs. First analysis in case of inventory functional or technical issues. Open a ticket with the vendor or TEC, and follow up until a solution is found.
- Training of broadcasters on new feature usages. Provide live training, written documentation and best practises.
- Maintenance of the marketplace: upload of new segments, video and site structure, in collaboration with the Ad Operation Manager.
- Lead on development of the marketplace: actively participate in the further development of the product, according to the customer’s expectations. Collaborate with both the commercial product manager and the technical teams (Adserving technology accounts and internal developers) in order to translate business requirements into technology enablers.
- Reporting to business: on demand and also monthly financial reporting on the activity. Optimisation and opportunity analysis. Slides presentation in collaboration with the Ad Operation Manager.
- Optimizing costs related to the platform (FreeWheel).
- Thanks to an efficient broadcaster guidance, you will drive a maximum of usage and have significant influence on the generated revenues
- Key decision maker on future ad serving technology selection (RFP to selected suppliers)


- Bachelor with 8 years of experience in a similar function, or Master with 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar function.
- Experience in complex video adserving technologies (FreeWheel MRM, …).
- Knowledge of Programmatic is a plus.
- Knowledge of the TV advertising business and methodologies is a plus (media planning, TV currencies, TV measurement, TV ad buying technologies).
- Good analysis skills, well organised.
- Minimum knowledge of the internal infrastructures plugged to the ad server.
- Ability to communicate concisely and clearly both orally and written in English.
- Easily collaborate with multiple stakeholders (business, vendors, broadcasters, TEC,…).
- Thrives in a fast paced environment.
