About this job

As Global Biscoff Customer & Brand development Manager you are responsible for developing Lotus Biscoff inside Partnerships worldwide. Lotus Biscoff inside is a strategic pillar to support the growth of our Lotus Biscoff brand. The objective of Lotus Biscoff Inside projects is to have more consumers discover the unique Lotus Biscoff taste in a branded way. This is done by creating new Biscoff product experiences all over the world, supported with typical Lotus Biscoff memory structures.

You will be in the lead to facilitate local partnerships with top “on the go” chains (such as McDonalds, Costa Coffee, Krispy Kreme Dunkin, Burger King,..), and large industrial bakery players (Europastry, Vandemoortele,..) and lead impactful collaborations with international A-brands within retail (KitKat, Danone, ...).

You will be the number one global go-to person for these segments and will be responsible for the further development and company-wide adoption of the strategy. Together with the local marketing and “on the go” sales teams, you will spark little moments of joy with consumers globally by introducing Lotus Biscoff products at the local coffee chains, Accommodation, QSR, ... or through partnerships with other brands and companies.

As Global Customer & Brand Development Manager you are part of the Global Brand Team within the Business Unit Lotus Biscoff, which is the largest strategic pillar. You report to the Global Brand Director and you have one direct report. This also gives you close exposure to the ExCom of Lotus Bakeries.


Lotus Biscoff inside Partnerships

You manage every new co-branded partnership opportunity with the markets, or directly, with potential global players, and assess their feasibility under the co-innovation funnel process already in place.
You set up the Lotus Biscoff inside guidelines and facilitate the implementation to the local markets.
You initiate and develop projects and plans across areas or in cooperation with lead markets to stimulate scalable trial and sales growth of Lotus Biscoff brand & concepts.
You act as first point of contact for the global partnership. This requires a high level of multi-stakeholders and project management on different levels both internally and externally.
You coordinate the Lotus Biscoff inside collaboration process for global partnerships. Key stakeholders are R&D, Quality, Procurement, Production,….
You facilitate local partnerships with the support of the Junior Brand Manager.

Lotus Biscoff Out of Home strategy

You develop and own the Lotus Biscoff OOH Strategy in line with the Lotus Biscoff Repeatable growth model. This requires gaining strong business insights and act as central.
person to share best practices, generate synergies, and help the local markets identify white spots in the OOH channels. The formulation of the strategy is based on internal and external best practices, initiated research and business analyses.
You gain business insights for creating strong sales rationales and be the central person to share learnings via best practices, international customer details, build synergies, link markets that can learn from each other, etc.
You facilitate the implementation of the OOH strategy by the development of B2B sales argumentation and communication. You create POS visibility tools and activation for (inter)national accounts.

You detect and generate new business opportunities within key customers, based on insights and developing new product ideas to fuel the innovation pipeline.

About you

You hold an Academic Master’s degree.
You are an experienced brand developer within a branded international FMCG environment in a Commercial and/or Marketing Department.
You have strong & proven project managements skills (from initial business case to implementation).
You have strong communication and multi-level stakeholder management skills (internally & externally).
You have an analytical mindset and you have a strong interest in continuous improvement.
You are a team player, you can easily enthuse people and create involvement.
You have a pro-active and challenging mentality; self-motivated and self-directed. Willingness to walk the extra mile with the right mentality.
You think strategically with the ability to bring it to life towards key stakeholders.
You are result-oriented and you strive for continuous improvement.
You have the ability to give direction within a changing environment.
You are fluent in English, the knowledge of another European language is a nice to have.
