WWF Belgium is looking for a Marketing Communications Officer to join the existing Communication team. That could be you!
As Marketing Communications Officer, you will play a crucial role in the planning and implementation of key campaigns to raise awareness and engagement among large audiences and/or specific targets.

This function is at the heart of WWF Belgium’s global communication. Planning and developing Fundraising campaigns, Advocacy campaigns, Behavioral Change campaigns, Branding and Positioning campaigns… to promote WWF’s actions in fields such as Wildlife, Oceans, Forests, Climate, Food and Fresh water.

We are searching for a Communication Guru able to coordinate the development of communications projects, tools and campaigns while respecting tight deadlines and budgets.
Your role
• You analyze and understand the objectives and the target audiences of the projects.
• You build communications strategies for key projects and campaigns (fundraising, branding, behavioral changing…)
• You secure the choice of media channels, messages and content
• You provide clear briefings to the internal teams (marketing, fundraising, policy…) and external clients (agencies, suppliers).
• You set up efficient and realistic planning while supervising budgets
• Together with the Public Engagement team, you oversee the multi-channel external communications related to your projects: above and below the line.
• You coordinate resources: organize internal and external resources, ensuring integration, collaboration, cost effectiveness and the highest standard of quality.

Your Profile
• You have a genuine interest for WWF’s values and nature conservation
• Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing, Communication or Public Relations.
• Proven minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
• 360° communication has no secrets for you
• Good knowledge of the digital communications field
• Proven track record of projects and budgets management
• Excellent written skills with a clear and effective communication approach
• You are comfortable at giving presentations
• French or Dutch is your mother tongue while you handle the second national language very well; you have a good command of English
• You successfully lead teams when working on projects
• Being Solution-oriented and a good Influencer is part of your DNA
