As our new Content Manager at Fnac Vanden Borre, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our content strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing the creation, editing and distribution of content that strengthens our brand promise, engages our customers, and triggers commercial results. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in content management systems, web content and team leadership.

Your role

- Support the Brand Communications Manager in developing and implementing a relevant content strategy that aligns with the company’s commercial strategy.
- Ensure all content is aligned with company values, tone of voice and brand philosophy.
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of 7 content experts and copywriters, promoting a collaborative and creative working environment.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content for various channels, including webshop, CRM marketing, Trade Marketing, social media, magazine, merchandising and more.
- Ensure all web content is SEO-optimized.
- Constantly improve content management systems to streamline the creation, editing and publishing process.
- Keep abreast of industry standards related to CMS and automate where possible.
- Daily management of webshop, ensuring that all web content is up-to-date, accurate and optimized for best conversion.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and accuracy of content.
- Review, correct and edit content to meet high standards of grammar, style and accuracy in both Dutch and French.
- Use data analysis and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of content initiatives and make data-driven decisions to improve the content strategy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including marketing, design, and sales, to ensure that all content connects to product launches, tactical campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.

Your profile
- At least 8 years experience as a Content or MarCom Manager.
- A master’s degree in marketing, digital marketing or communication.
- In-depth knowledge of content management systems.
- Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills in both Dutch and French.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Command of SEO best practices and ability to apply them.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Creative thinker with a proven track record of delivering innovative and engaging content.
- Knowledge of retail industry is a plus.
