Towards more transparency and mutual understanding in the influencer industry
The Belgian influencer sector has taken a clear step towards greater professionalism, better consumer protection and ethical advertising. The event 'United for Influencers in Dialogue' was organised to tackle the fragmentation of guidelines and jointly discuss the challenges faced by creators and brands. During a successful first edition on 10 June, 150 professionals came together. From content creators and brands to agencies, platforms, legal experts and policymakers. The event was organised by the Influencer Marketing Alliance and the Council for Advertising, with their members FeWeb, ACC, UBA, BAM, UMA and JEP.
