In collaboration with the law firm AdaStone, we offer UBA members free first-line legal advice on various topics.
What is my benefit as a UBA member?
- As part of the UBA-AdaStone partnership, the first 60 minutes of legal service are free. If 60 minutes are not sufficient, AdaStone will provide a quote, taking into account the UBA preferential rate of €185 excluding VAT per hour, which will be submitted to you for approval before any work begins.

What can AdaStone advise you on?
You can turn to AdaStone for advice on the following topics:
- Advertising for all media (internet, TV, radio, cinema, outdoor, press, etc.)
- Competitions, raffles, and games of chance
- Influencer Marketing
- Digital Marketing
- Direct Marketing
- E-commerce (website development, website clearing, launching new products and services via the internet, etc.)
- E-reputation
- Privacy rights and data protection
- Copyright, image rights, and name rights
- Trademark law (including availability searches and trademark deposits based on prior budgets) and design and model rights
- Sponsorship, merchandising, events
- Commercial communication related to specific products and targeted at sensitive audiences (tobacco, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, children)
- Business practices (unfair, misleading, disparaging, aggressive, etc.)
- Price regulation
- Advertising techniques (discounts, promotional actions, etc.)
Complex questions related to topics not listed above are also handled by AdaStone, but fall outside the scope of the Legal Line service. In such cases, work will be carried out based on a pre-agreed budget, and you can also benefit from the UBA preferential rate.

- Drafting all your contracts (agency/advertiser, contracts with influencers, competition rules, NDAs, contracts regarding the transfer of copyrights with creatives and freelancers, contracts related to audiovisual productions, contracts with service providers and partners, etc.)
- Fiscal optimization of copyright compensation

- Participation in and drafting of government tenders/bids/competitions
- Contact with self-regulating or regulatory bodies (e.g., JEP, VRM, CSA, GBA, Ministry of Economic Affairs or Public Health, etc.)
- Financing through "Tax Shelter" or sectoral support
