Online research panels zijn een belangrijke bron van dataverzameling. Deze data wordt door onderzoekers gebruikt voor het creëren van inzichten en beïnvloedt het nemen van beslissingen. In deze Expert Community kijken we kritisch naar de aanpak en kwaliteit van online research panels.

Introduction

Kwantitatief onderzoek kampt met toenemende uitdagingen rond panel kwaliteit (representativiteit en diversiteit, speeders en straightliners, bots,…) en afnemende response rates. Het is niet altijd duidelijk wat onderzoeksbureaus of panelproviders wel of niet ondernemen op dit vlak. 

Wat mogen we verwachten? Wat stellen we misschien beter in vraag? Wat is onze rol als research experten? 

Tijdens deze expert community gaan we dieper in op enkele vragen die we ons als researchers best stellen en hoe verschillende panelproviders hiermee omgaan. We delen positieve en negatieve ervaringen met elkaar en reiken tips aan om de kwaliteit van deze panels te beoordelen en te optimaliseren. Aansluitend zullen de vertegenwoordigers van een dedicated panel provider én van een onderzoeksbureau met panel toelichten hoe zij deze uitdagingen aanpakken.
