On 17 January, the European Parliament voted in favour of adopting the negotiated agreement with EU Member States on the proposal for a directive aimed at empowering consumers for the green transition. This initiative, a flagship project of the European Commission, seeks to amend the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (UCPD) to address greenwashing practices.
