Introduction

Onze samenleving digitaliseert aan een hoog tempo en de marketingwereld is daarop zeker geen uitzondering. Marketing automation tools veroveren de werkvloer en de sales talk die daarbij hoort, laat vaak uitschijnen dat de sky de limit is als het gaat om de mogelijkheden op vlak van personalisatie en voorspelling van consumer behaviour.

Alleen zien wij als advocaten ook de andere kant van de medaille. Al die mooie tools op de markt zijn niet per definitie GDPR compliant en zelfs als ze dat wel zijn, is het gebruik ervan niet altijd zonder risico.

Wij zien daarbij dat marketeers moeite hebben om in te schatten wat wel en niet kan en waarom ze moeten opletten bij de keuze van een nieuwe software tool of app. Na deze sessie kan elke marketeer hier geïnformeerd mee aan de slag.
