During the Exchange Community Research Panels, NIQ and YouGov will present the latest insights from their panels and data. In this session, the National Bank of Belgium also offers a (cyclical) overview of the Belgian economy in a changing world.

What about shoppers' spending habits? What trends are we seeing in FMCG?  How are suppliers and retailers responding to the consumer reality of 2026?  What is the success of a number of new players on the Belgian market? What are the key economic trends for optimising your future strategies?

Based on their panel data, NIQ (retail data) and YouGov (household panel data) each give their view on the main developments of the year. The research department of the National Bank of Belgium presents the most important insights into the economic developments we are facing.
