LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®

How do I extract all the knowledge from a group?

Master Class French Dutch

Introduction

You can learn more from a person in an hour of play than you can from a lifetime of conversation. Plato

In marketing and communication departments, brainstorming sessions or workshops are almost a daily or weekly occurrence. The first challenge often begins with, "Who should we invite to this workshop?" and all too often, the same individuals are called upon. These are usually the ones who always have something to say.

But have you ever considered that perhaps not all the knowledge present in the team or organization is being brought to the surface?
What could you do to increase active participation from every attendee in a meeting or workshop? How could you make the meeting more "lean forward" rather than "lean backward"?
What can we do differently to maximize the output of the workshop or brainstorming session?

What will you learn?

  • You will gain an overview of how the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method can be used, and you will understand the advantages of this method compared to other facilitation methods.
  • You will get hands-on experience with the bricks and learn firsthand what the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method entails through a real-life case.
  • You will receive tips on how to use play in your daily work within a marketing/communication department and as a potential team leader.

For whom?

This course is for anyone open to exploring new facilitation methods beyond traditional tools like flipcharts, Post-it notes, and World Café sessions, and willing to experiment with them.

This course is aimed at "beginners" with basic knowledge of the subject matter.

Language

The training will be given in Dutch & French, depending on the group.
