Stijgende materiaalprijzen en arbeidskosten, dalende koopkracht, hevige concurrentie en hoge promotionele druk: geen wonder dat veel bedrijven in de huidige economie worstelen met hun prijsstelling. Helaas bestaat er niet iets als een kant-en-klare formule om op terug te vallen. Inzicht in je merken, producten, markt en klanten is onontbeerlijk als je je prijzen precies juist wil zetten. Een prijsstrategie ontwikkelen zonder die kennis is als een huis bouwen op drijfzand. Een op inzicht gebaseerde methode zoals value-based pricing is niet de makkelijkste om te implementeren, maar is op langere termijn zeker de moeite waard. Hierdoor kun je je prijspotentieel maximaliseren, vooral als je een sterk merk hebt, met een lagere prijselasticiteit tot gevolg.
