Belgian Advertising Ecosystem: Engine of the economy and society
On 23 September, advertisers, media companies, and agencies gathered in the prestigious setting of La Monnaie in Brussels for the second edition of the State of the Union, organized by CIM and the Council for Advertising. One of the highlights of the day was the presentation by economist Geert Noels, who, together with Kristof Eggermont (Ortelius), unveiled an updated version of the Econopolis study. First carried out ten years ago, this study once again provides a picture of the economic and socio-cultural impact of advertising in Belgium.
