Advertising : the engine of growth and media

A new study by Ortelius, the consulting branch of the Econopolis Group, commissioned by the Belgian Advertising Council, confirms the crucial economic and societal role of advertising in Belgium. With €15.1 billion in economic value, equal to 2.53% of Belgium’s GDP and 46,653 jobs, advertising is far more than just a cost item. Yet the sector is under pressure and calls for targeted action and renewed collaboration.
