What makes this role unique?
As the architect of our external communications, you will establish an overarching communications framework that translates the company vision into a consistent, credible, and data-driven story – across all relevant channels. You increase trust and strengthen WDP’s positioning as a leading listed player in Europe with investors, media, and other stakeholders.

Your impact:
Corporate Communications

  • Translate company strategy into clear corporate and financial content, including quarterly and annual reports, press releases, and investor presentations.
  • Support the leadership team in developing key messages and corporate storytelling, and jointly determine the multi-year narrative.
  • Connect strategy with storytelling and ensure WDP’s voice – from quarterly press releases to annual reports – forms a strong, unified whole.


Media & Investor Relations

  • Build sustainable relationships with (financial) media, coordinate press releases and media moments, and advise on media appearances or crisis communications.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, providing sharp feedback to management.
  • Strengthen investor trust with thematic sector updates and well-founded narratives.
     

Corporate Investor Relations Events

  • Coordinate roadshows, Capital Markets Days, and lead projects related to external communications.
     

Digital and Social Media Strategy

  • Enhance WDP’s presence on social media – in close collaboration with the marketing team – with impactful storytelling and a consistent core message on platforms like LinkedIn
  • Stimulate digital innovation and AI applications to speed up and optimize communication processes.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging digital content to boost company reputation and stakeholder engagement.
     

Sustainability & ESG Communication

  • Give sustainability and ESG initiatives a clear voice, ensuring transparent reporting and communication.
  • Develop content that highlights WDP’s sustainability initiatives and ESG objectives, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Your profile:

  • At least 10 years’ experience, including several years in external corporate communications.
  • Master’s degree in Communications, PR, Economics, or a related field.
  • Familiar with the dynamics of a listed environment.
  • Sharp strategic insight, but not afraid to write yourself.
  • Write clearly, precisely, and impactfully in Dutch and English – French is a plus.
  • A connector with drive, discretion, and finesse.

You possess the following qualities and skills:

  • A strong interest in the logistics real estate sector, finance, and sustainability.
  • Integrity and the ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly.
  • A quality-driven, precise, and accurate working approach.
  • The ability to seamlessly switch between strategic decisions and hands-on tasks.
  • A combination of humility and decisiveness, with both analytical and pragmatic thinking.
  • A curious and eager-to-learn mindset, taking proactive initiative.
