As a Junior Brand Manager, you will support the Senior Brand Manager in the development and implementation of the marketing plans. You will take the lead on specific activations and projects by working with the cross-functional teams and managing the agencies to ensure a perfect execution across touchpoints. You will drive business understanding & seek opportunities thanks to excellent analytical skill. You will have the possibility to take on more responsibilities and to grow progressively in the role of Brand Manager. 

Main Responsibilities:  

Brand Strategy

In this role, you will contribute to the development of the annual marketing plan for Kinder Chocolate, supporting the definition of the brand strategy, key actions and budget. You will also be involved in strategic cross‑Kinder projects, including initiatives like the Kinder Joy of Moving program and Kinder Brand Social Responsibility campaigns. Beyond planning, you ensure that the strategy translates into concrete consumer communication, and you analyze activities throughout the year.

Communication Development

You will lead the end‑to‑end management of advertising campaigns, from briefing agencies to coordinating and ensuring seamless execution across all touchpoints. This responsibility includes owning and delivering brand activations within your scope, ensuring excellent execution. Alongside this, you manage the allocated A&P budget for your campaigns.

Portfolio Management

A solid understanding of the full product range will enable you to ensure the daily management and follow‑up of the existing portfolio. You will drive preparations for new product launches, developing business cases, managing internal coordination and monitoring performance once the products are introduced to the market. Continuous business monitoring will also be key, allowing you to identify opportunities and risks in close collaboration with Trade Marketing and Sales teams.

Analyses & Insights

You will analyze and interpret consumer and shopper data from various sources, such as GfK, Nielsen and sell‑in data, to identify trends and growth opportunities. Developing a strong understanding of the target consumer, the retailer landscape and the main market insights will be essential in shaping brand decisions. Based on your analyses, you will regularly share relevant business insights and translate them into actionable recommendations that support brand development and execution.

Who we are looking for:  

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in economics or marketing and brings 1-2 years of experience in Marketing, Sales or Trade Marketing. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player demonstrating a high level of ownership. Your strong analytical skills and previous experience with Nielsen / GfK allow you to gain key insights. In order to successfully manage your various responsibilities & priorities, you have a structured approach and strong project management skills. Fluency in Dutch and English as well as a good level of French is required.
