Puratos, Windocare and Aurélie Denayer (Proximus) are the major winners of the sixth edition of the Belgian Marketing Awards. These three leading figures of modern marketing were celebrated on 5 November during a festive ceremony held in the Deloitte auditorium.

Marketing Leader(ship) of the Year

The prestigious individual category of the Belgian Marketing Awards saw a genuine battle of titans this year between three major marketing figures: Aurélie Denayer (Proximus) took Gold, while Valérie Molitor (Bel Boursin) and An Caers (ING) secured Silver and Bronze respectively.
“Aurélie knows better than anyone how to build a strong brand,” said Lies Eeckman enthusiastically. “Under her leadership, Proximus’s marketing strategy has evolved from a series of campaigns to a true platform: Think Possible. Her ability to combine introspection and agility in a changing world, while protecting and strengthening the brand’s identity, illustrates her outstanding leadership qualities.”

Marketing Company of the Year: Puratos

Puratos is a Belgian family-owned company with international reach that provides bakers, pastry chefs and chocolatiers with high-quality ingredients. A B2B company, yet one that stands out for its investment in innovative consumer research.
“With Puratos, we are rewarding for the first time in the young history of the Belgian Marketing Awards a B2B player as Marketing Company of the Year,” said Lies Eeckman (Polestar), Chair of the Jury. “A truly deserving winner, capable of inspiring all brands and marketers. Through their approach – helping their clients grow and sharing the fruits together – the teams of this local multinational perfectly illustrate what customer-centric marketing really means.”

The Silver Award and Bronze Award went respectively to Foodbag and the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp (KMSKA). “B2B, local e-commerce and a cultural institution: we are delighted with such a diverse list of winners,” said Dominique Vercraeye (Chosen Group), who supported the selection of finalists for this category within the Steering Committee of the Belgian Marketing Awards. “And what’s more, they are three Belgian companies, truly from our own soil.”

Young Marketing Company of the Year: Windocare

In the young brands category, Windocare triumphed over Planet B (Wondr), which took home the Silver trophy. Behind the straightforward slogan of this repair company – “Specialist in after-sales service for windows, doors, shutters and blinds” – lies a truly visionary marketing engine. With a solid strategy and a distinctly innovative spirit, CEO Niels Stilman and his “service heroes” are writing an impressive success story.

“They have perfectly understood the importance of aligning all touchpoints to build a coherent marketing narrative,” said Lies Eeckman. “The brand delivers an exceptional customer experience at all levels, based on consumers’ everyday needs and supported by a long-term plan. Their close partnership with their agency, their focus on digitalisation and their proven marketing efficiency are all truly admirable.”

Deloitte Award

Puratos had yet another reason to celebrate during the ceremony: the family business also won the Deloitte Award for Excellence in Data & MarTech. “Puratos deploys a wide range of tools to optimise its marketing, with relevance as the ultimate guiding principle,” noted Lies Eeckman. “Artificial intelligence is already integrated remarkably well – not as a gimmick, but as a genuine lever for value creation.”

The Belgian Marketing awards is an initiative of seven associations (ACC, BABM, BAM, BMMA, CUBE, UBA et UMA), with the support of Deloitte.
